Kids Safety Camp 2024
The Marshalltown Police Department and the Marshalltown YMCA-YWCA will be hosting “Kids Safety Camp” on Thursday, August 8th. Students will have a fun filled day while they learn about day to day safety tips, emergency procedures, internet, sports , bike and water safety. Students will be split up into five teams for this interactive, educational and fun program. This one day event is for kids entering 3rd, 4th and 5th grades in the 2024-2025 school year. There is a $20 registration fee that will help cover the cost of lunches, snacks, and beverages for the day. In addition, each child will receive a Kids Safety Camp t-shirt, certificate of completion and a team photo.
Time and Location:
Marshalltown YMCA-YWCA Cultural Center 705 S. Center St
Thursday, August 8 – 7:45 a.m.—4:15 p.m. Registration will be 7:45-8:15 a.m. Pick up 4:15-4:30p.m.
For Your Information
- Deadline for registration is Thursday, June 27th. (Cap of 75 kids)
- Please bring a swimsuit and towel for the water safety portion of the day.
- Lunch and snacks will be provided.
