Strong Kids  Ages 8-10

STRONG KIDS is a program with younger gym members in mind! This program is available to kids 8-10 years of age that would like to establish a cardiovascular and conditioning program.  Exercise doesn't have to be a chore; Kids have fun while learning new skills to prepare for a healthy life ahead.  Taught in a small-group setting led by trained instructors, it's suitable for all levels of experience.  

Financial assistance accepted. Space is limited. 

Fall session #1: Tuesdays and Thursdays from Aug 29 - Oct 19
Fall session #2: Tuesdays and Thursdays from Oct 24 - Dec 21

Power Up!  Ages 11-13

POWER UP! is a program with our pre-teen gym-goers in mind! This program is available to youth 11-13 years of age . The focus is to empower participants with knowledge of the basics of weight lifting and gym etiquette. This is perfect for those who are wanting to learn proper form  and seeking education about the lifts and equipment. Taught in a small-group setting led by trained instructors, it’s suitable for all levels of experience! Financial assistance accepted. Space is limited. 

Fall session #1: Mondays and Wednesdays from Aug 28 - Oct 18
Fall session #2: Mondays and Wednesdays from Oct 23 - Dec 20
4:15 p.m. - 5:15 p.m.  *Only 60 minutes*

Parent/Child Fitness Orientations (Ages 10-13)

Youth ages 10-13, along with a parent/guardian, may attend parent/child fitness orientations. Both the youth and the parent will be instructed on how to use the exercise equipment and will be set up on Activtrax. Once completed, the youth will be able to use the main fitness equipment and take group fitness classes. A parent must accompany the youth and remain with them at all times. FITNESS CENTER GUIDELINES FOR YOUTH

• Youth age 14 and older are allowed on the fitness floor unsupervised and may also participate in fitness classes (must purchase a Class Pass in order to attend group exercise classes.)

• Youth ages 10 – 13 may attend Strong Kids Class.

• Youth ages 10 – 13 along with a parent/guardian may attend Parent/Child Fitness Orientation.  Youth will then be able to use the main fitness equipment and take group exercise classes (must purchase a Class Pass in order to attend with parent.)

Parent/guardian must accompany the 10 – 13 year-old in the Fitness Center and remain with them at all times.

INDOOR TRACK GUIDELINES FOR YOUTH

• Youth ages 14 and older may use the track unsupervised.

• Youth ages 8 – 13 may use the track only under direct supervision of a parent/guardian.  

Parent/guardian must accompany the 8 – 13 year-old on the Track and remain with them at all times.
